About the Role
We're looking for a strategic and results-driven Performance Lead to own performance media strategy, investment, and delivery for our clients. You will play a key role in translating business objectives into effective performance strategies across channels, working closely with clients, media planning teams, and partners to drive measurable growth.
We're seeking a proactive leader with strong performance media experience who can manage budgets and multiple campaigns, contribute confidently to client discussions, and coach and develop a performance team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
As Performance Lead, you will own performance media strategy, investment, and delivery, driving measurable growth for our clients while leading and developing the performance team.
- Performance Strategy: Translate business and campaign objectives into clear performance strategies, defining channel roles, audiences, KPIs, budget priorities, and optimization approaches.
- Integrated Media Thinking: Partner closely with media planning teams to ensure performance strategy and execution are aligned with the overall media approach, audience strategy, and role of each channel.
- Budget Governance: Oversee performance media investment, pacing, and allocation to ensure budgets are deployed effectively against agreed objectives and KPIs.
- Client & Stakeholder Leadership: Lead performance discussions with clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear perspectives on performance, opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
- Performance Governance: Establish optimization frameworks, quality standards, and review processes to ensure consistent and high-quality campaign execution across the team.
- Data & Measurement Leadership: Define how performance data should be structured, analyzed, and visualized to enable faster decision-making and more meaningful performance evaluation.
- Reporting & Automation: Champion scalable reporting, dashboarding, and automation solutions that reduce manual workload, improve data consistency, and enable teams to focus more time on analysis and optimization.
- Performance Intelligence: Lead performance reviews, identify trends and patterns across campaigns, and translate findings into actionable media and business recommendations.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building: Coach and develop the performance team through clear ownership, structured quality control, knowledge sharing, and ongoing capability development.
Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in performance marketing; a degree in Business, Marketing, Data, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in FMCG is preferred; beer category experience is a plus.
- Experience across Lead Generation, E-commerce, and D2C solutions.
- Strong expertise in Meta, TikTok, and other performance marketing platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data, technology, and automation to drive business results.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of delivering performance objectives.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear business recommendations.
- Ability to connect media performance with business impact and commercial outcomes.
