Job Description

Job purpose

The People Business Partner Manager – Supply Chain partners with business stakeholders to translate business priorities into effective people and organization solutions. As a trusted partners, the role provides people insights, coaching and practical solutions to strengthen organizational effectiveness, talent, capability and culture, enabling sustainable business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

People Strategy & Business Partnering

  • Translate business priorities into relevant people priorities and action plans, aligned with the overall People strategy.
  • Provide people insights and advice to support business decisions and address current and future organizational needs.
  • Lead workforce planning for the assigned business area, identifying workforce, capability and resourcing needs.
  • Drive effective execution of key People initiatives and priorities.

Organization Development & Change

  • Partner with leaders to continuously assess and improve organization structure, roles, capabilities and ways of working to enable business performance.
  • Identify the people and organization implications of business plans and ensure they are considered in business decision-making.
  • Support organizational transformation and change, coaching leaders to effectively lead and embed change.
  • Partner with leaders to identify and address current and future functional and leadership capability needs.

Performance, Talent & Succession:

  • Drive effective performance and talent management, ensuring clear performance expectations, quality development plans and robust performance calibration.
  • Lead talent reviews and succession planning, identifying critical talent and ensuring meaningful development and succession actions.
  • Coach and challenge People Managers to strengthen performance management, talent development and people leadership effectiveness.
  • Partner with relevant People teams to enable development, mobility and retention of critical talent.

Engagement, Culture & Employee Relations:

  • Partner with leaders to build a high-performing, engaging, inclusive and safe working environment aligned with Heineken values and behaviors.
  • Use employee listening and people insights to identify organizational themes and translate them into focused improvement actions.
  • Strengthen effective relationships and communication between leaders, employees and employee representatives.
  • Coach leaders on employee relations matters and ensure consistent application of People policies, practices and labor requirements, in partnership with relevant COE team.

People Function Partnership & Analytics & Execution

  • Act as the key connection between the business and the broader People function, ensuring business needs are translated into relevant & effective People solutions.
  • Use workforce analytics and key people indicators to identify trends, risks and actionable insights for business leaders.
  • Drive effective implementation of enterprise People initiatives and continuously simplify People processes and ways of working.
  • Leverage digital tools, automation and AI responsibly to improve People effectiveness, insights and employee/manager experience.

Job requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience, with solid HR Business Partner experience in a medium-to-large organization.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders across key people areas; manufacturing, Supply Chain or FMCG experience is preferred.

Functional Capabilities

  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into effective people solutions.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in organization & workforce planning, talent & performance management, change management and employee relations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data and insights into actions.
  • Good knowledge of Vietnamese labor legislation and HR practices.

Leadership & Behavioral Capabilities

  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and coaching skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge.
  • Strong judgment, execution and ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Collaborative, curious and learning-oriented, with high integrity.
  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
