Job Description

Brief

Supervise and produce baked goods, ensure quality, manage ingredients, assign staff, and comply with hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and produce bakery products, ensuring consistent production and quality.
  • Assign tasks and manage bakery operations effectively.
  • Prepare bakery items according to orders and hotel standards.
  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
  • Create purchase requests for ingredients and supplies.
  • Inspect refrigerators and work areas daily to prevent spoilage.
  • Check and adjust items made by subordinate staff.
  • Create shaped dough products when necessary.
  • Comply with hygiene, safety, and energy-saving regulations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and quality standards.
  • Preferably at least 1 year of experience in an international kitchen environment.
  • Requirement: baking certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
  • Update culinary trends as requested by the Head Chef.
  • Maintain a professional attitude with colleagues and supervisors.
