We are seeking a
Aftersales Setup and Warehouse Management who is responsible for managing logistics processes for new and existing overseas markets. This role ensures the successful setup of new warehouses, compliance with import/export regulations, and the efficient flow of vehicles and spare parts across markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Existing AFS warehouses performance monitoring
- Monitor operational KPIs of existing AFS warehouses, including:
- Inventory accuracy
- Order fulfillment rates
- Lead times and dwell time
- Urgent shipment (VOR) performance
- Collect and analyze warehouse performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Report operational performance metrics to the Director of Overseas Logistics.
2. Expansion & scope planning
- Assess current warehouse capacity versus forecasted demand for spare parts and finished vehicles.
- Prepare detailed requirements for warehouse expansion, including:
- Space, layout, and storage requirements
- Equipment, material handling, and IT system needs
- Staffing and operational readiness
- Propose scope changes to optimize existing warehouse utilization and service levels.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Global Logistics, SAP IT, Operations) and external vendors (3PLs, contractors) for planning and implementation.
3. Overseas logistics coordination
- Ensure AFS warehouses comply with VinFast operational standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs authorities for warehouse-related logistics.
- Investigate system transaction inconsistencies and integration issues between SAP and vendor WMS.
- Support operational readiness and system setup for any new warehouse or modified scope initiatives.
4. Reporting & Process Improvement
- Produce structured analytical reports on warehouse performance, capacity needs, and operational risks.
- Propose process improvements and recommend operational or system changes based on warehouse performance insights.
- Update SOPs and ensure consistent warehouse practices across overseas markets.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, market setup, or international operations, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, import/export documentation, and customs clearance procedures.
- Proven experience managing warehouse or distribution setup projects.
- Excellent project management, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); additional language skills are an advantage.
