Position: OTR Field Service Engineer
Location: Mining Site Laos

Job Summary
The OTR Field Service Engineer will be stationed at a mining site in Laos to provide professional on-site technical service and performance management for Sailun OTR tires. This role supports key mining customers, ensuring optimal tire performance, reducing cost-per-hour, and strengthening Sailun's technical service reputation in the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. On-site Technical Service & Performance Management
- Provide daily technical inspection and service for Sailun OTR tires at the mining site.
- Monitor tire performance such as TKPH/TMPH, wear rate, pressure management, and heat control.
- Analyze tire failures and provide root cause analysis with corrective action plans.
- Track tire lifecycle performance and submit service improvement proposals.
2. Customer Support & Relationship Management
- Act as Sailun's on-site technical representative at the mining operation.
- Maintain strong communication with mine maintenance managers and equipment operators.
- Provide guidance on proper tire usage, maintenance, and storage.
- Support installation, dismounting, rotation planning, and scrap analysis.
3. Reporting & Data Analysis
- Prepare weekly and monthly service reports to regional management.
- Record and analyze operational data to improve cost-per-hour (CPH) performance.
- Provide market and product feedback to the internal technical team.
4. Coordination & Business Support
- Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Support product trials and new tire pattern introductions at mining sites.
- Assist in forecasting tire demand and replacement planning.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in OTR tire service, mining equipment, or heavy machinery environment.
- Solid understanding of OTR tire structure, heat management, load calculation, and site performance control.
- Experience working at mining sites is highly preferred.
- English can communicate.
- Willing to be stationed long-term at a mining site in Laos.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- High level of responsibility and safety awareness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international tire brands in mining environments.
- Experience supporting large mining fleets (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, etc.).
