Job Description

We are supporting a Chinese medical device company specializing in ophthalmology products, including IOLs, glaucoma devices, and surgical consumables. As part of its Vietnam expansion, the company is seeking a Sales Manager to grow the ophthalmology market and build strong relationships with hospitals, surgeons, and distributors.

  • Salary range: Attractive salary package + commissions

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development activities for ophthalmology surgical products across Vietnam
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ophthalmologists, cataract surgeons, eye hospitals, clinics, and distributors
  • Expand market presence for intraocular lenses (IOLs), glaucoma devices, and ophthalmic consumables
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic account plans
  • Conduct product presentations, workshops, and clinical support activities with healthcare professionals
  • Work closely with surgeons and hospital procurement teams during product evaluation and adoption processes
  • Collaborate with internal regional teams on sales forecasting, market feedback, and competitive analysis
  • Support distributor management and channel development when required
  • Participate in medical exhibitions, conferences, and ophthalmology events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device or healthcare sales
  • Strong preference for candidates from:
  • Ophthalmology medical devices
  • Surgical consumables
  • Cataract / Phaco products
  • IOL or ophthalmic product lines
  • Existing network with ophthalmologists, eye hospitals, or medical distributors is highly preferred
  • Experience handling hospital accounts and clinical stakeholders
  • Strong communication, relationship management, and commercial skills
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow a market independently
  • English communication ability is preferred
