Responsibilities
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and executing field operations safely and efficiently. The role focuses on personnel scheduling, equipment readiness, service quality, customer support, and day-to-day operational execution to ensure successful delivery of operations in compliance with company and customer requirements.
- Lead execution of all operational activities determining resource requirements (demand); crew utilization, asset utilization and inventory management to positively affect EBITDA
- Support Operation Manager to ensure that the Product Line maintains its strategic focus on the provision of a quality service to customers
- Ensures the organization is optimally suited to deliver the best job execution with outstanding Service Quality and to systematically evaluate results obtained to further improve products and services. Regularly assess the resources and support required to perform a safe and high-quality job and ensure strict adherence to Service Quality and Safety Standards
- Fosters and leads continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that the internal process within the organization meet the needs of the business
- Ensure customer Statement of Requirements details equipment verifications and is translated into client Standard Operating Procedures
- Support Operation Manager to maintain strong customer relationships, identify customer needs, and ensure alignment with sales on pricing for all bids and quotes; offer solutions, set and manage revenue and cost budgets and commitments, and ensure quality of job delivery
- Provide technical support to field staff and customers prior to, during, and post job (briefing and debriefing)
- Drive forward change initiatives which enhance business performance
- Review and approve the final job summary in Weatherford Performance Tracking System;
- Maintaining strict adherence to Weatherford's Delivery Ticket Process and implementation
- Manage equipment maintenance and modifications to remain in accordance with the latest Technical Manuals
- Oversee the demand planning for operation, critical spares and support R&M group
- Coordinate personnel assignments and crew rotations to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure equipment readiness, maintenance status, certification compliance, demand planning and mobilization planning.
- Support job planning, risk assessments, and pre-job meetings.
- Monitor operational performance, utilization, and service quality KPIs.
- Provide technical guidance and operational support to field personnel.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of field documentation, service tickets, and job reports.
- Support investigations of safety incidents, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, R&M, Logistics, and Field/Technical teams to ensure operational readiness.
- Support Operation Manager to conduct competency assessments, coaching, and development of field personnel.
- Maintain compliance with company QHSSE standards and customer requirements.
- Participate in customer operational meetings and daily operational coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant operational experience within the oilfield services, drilling, or related industry.
- Demonstrated experience in executing day-to-day operations and supporting product-related projects.
- Experience in personnel coordination, resource planning, and operational execution.
- Exposure to cost control, budgeting, revenue tracking, or P&L management is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Comprehensive understanding of the Product Line and technical job planning requirements
- Good understanding of Engineering, Service Quality and Sales
- Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
- Ability to work in high pressure situations, balancing both client and business expectations
- Knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, Health Safety and Environmental (HS&E) and compliance
