What you'll do:

As Operations Manager based in Binh Duong, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where your ability to coordinate complex manufacturing processes will be highly valued. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with both internal colleagues and external partners as you oversee the full lifecycle of port equipment projects-from initial planning through to final installation. You will be instrumental in driving productivity improvements by developing robust KPIs alongside other supply operations teams. • Coordinate all aspects of manufacturing and installation operations throughout Vietnam, ensuring smooth execution of projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage subcontracting purchase orders and contracts with external partners such as manufacturing firms and installation subcontractors.
• Plan innovative concepts related to steel structure manufacturing and oversee crane module installations, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Manage on-site supervisory resources by planning schedules, allocating tasks, and supporting team members in their daily activities.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including supply functions, project management teams, logistics specialists, health & safety experts, and quality assurance professionals.
• Drive productivity improvements by developing key performance indicators (KPIs) in partnership with other supply operations functions.
• Champion safe site operations by identifying potential risks and working proactively with HSE specialists to resolve any issues promptly.
• Implement process enhancements and quality improvement programmes that elevate operational standards across all projects.
• Foster open communication channels between all parties involved in the supply chain to ensure transparency and effective problem-solving.
• Report directly to the Director of Subcontracting South Asia, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and achievements.
