Description
The Operational Manager manages the operations team to deliver high-quality, profitable campaigns tailored to regional or client needs. They ensure projects run smoothly from briefing to delivery, maintaining accuracy, timelines, and quality standards.
The role drives effective sourcing, operational consistency, and sustainable practices while
working with specialist teams to deliver practical solutions. Through strong negotiation and problem-solving, the Operational Team Lead contributes to client satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Production planning, scheduling, and supplier negotiation to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time.
- Order management and operational oversight, ensuring all production and project orders are tracked and executed according to operational processes.
- Supplier management, coordinating with production vendors and monitoring quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- QA/QC inspections and reporting to ensure outputs meet required quality standards and issues are resolved promptly.
- Logistics and warehousing coordination, ensuring smooth movement of goods aligned with project timelines.
- Delivery planning and billing management, ensuring accurate delivery execution, documentation, and invoicing.
- Payment management and financial coordination, overseeing AR/AP processes and working closely with Finance.
- Revenue, COGS, and margin monitoring to ensure operational activities support profitability and cost efficiency.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong knowledge of production processes, with the ability to communicate effectively in vendor language when working with production suppliers, logistics partners, and other operational vendors.
- Good understanding of logistics, finance, tax, and regulatory considerations, with the ability to connect these areas to support operational execution and business objectives.
- Strong business sense with a solid understanding of business processes from both agency and client perspectives.
- High attention to detail, combined with structured and systematic thinking when managing operational workflows.
- Ability to identify potential operational risks early and communicate proactively with relevant teams to develop practical solutions.
- Strong planning and organisational skills to manage operational priorities and ensure smooth project execution.
- Familiarity with business systems and operational tools used in daily operational management and reporting.
- Minimum 5 years of operational management experience, ideally in marketing production, POSM, or related industries.
- Experience working in cross-market or international environments, collaborating with stakeholders across different countries rather than operating solely within the Vietnam market.
