Position Overview: The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operational performance, ensuring that supply chain, distribution, customer success, and IT systems are optimised for efficiency and growth. The role focuses on high standards of quality, safety, process improvements, and ERP system implementation while building a high-performance team culture.
Main Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Develop and sustain a high-performance team culture.
Oversee all operational processes and chair inter departmental meetings.
Conduct regular one-to-one reviews with Operations Team Leads.
Identify and address skills gaps through targeted training programmes.
Provide performance feedback and career planning for team members.
Continuous Improvement
Regularly assess operations to identify and rectify bottlenecks.
Apply LEAN methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Implement automation plans using advanced technological tools.
Optimise supply chain logistics to boost throughput, reduce costs and shorten delivery times.
Culture Alignment
Actively promote and integrate Unios s core values into daily operations.
Support inclusivity and continuous professional growth within the team.
Foster open communication and manage conflicts constructively.
Team Leadership & People Development
Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing Business Development & Sales team in
Vietnam.
Implement structured 1:1s and Territory Planning cycles every 6 weeks.
Foster a performance-driven, values-aligned team culture with clear career pathways.
Facilitate professional growth via coaching, on-the-job learning, and structured feedback.
Strategic Planning and Execution
Lead the development and implementation of strategic operational initiatives that align with long-term strategic goals.
Monitor and adjust the strategic plan based on operational performance metrics and market feedback.
ERP Implementation
Manage the full lifecycle of the ERP system implementation, from system selection to post implementation support and optimization.
Coordinate training and change management activities to ensure a smooth transition to the new ERP system.
Technical and Experienced Requirements
Demonstrated success in a similar role for a company of similar scale and complexity (more than 5 years of experience). Company size: 50 employees.
Experience in management and leadership
Familiarity with all business functions, including HR, finance, supply chain, and IT
Preferably bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean or continuous improvement methodology
Developing high-performing teams
Ability to communicate and relate at all levels, from senior executive to junior, inexperienced roles
