Job Description

Role purpose/ summary:

The Operations Manager Vietnam is responsible for leading and optimizing the overall operations of the Vietnam branch, ensuring strong execution, client satisfaction, and sustainable revenue growth.

This role reports directly to the Regional Director and works closely with global production, finance, HR, and commercial teams. The role contributes to the organisation's success by ensuring operational excellence, cost control, team performance, and strong client partnerships in Vietnam.

The Operations Manager will oversee local production workflows, resource planning, stakeholder management, and alignment with global standards and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Vietnam branch, ensuring service quality and timely delivery
  • Drive business growth by strengthening existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities
  • Manage operational budget, monitor costs, and ensure profitability targets are achieved
  • Oversee resource planning, capacity management, and workflow optimization
  • Lead, coach, and develop a local team; ensure clear performance expectations and accountability
  • Collaborate with Regional Director and global stakeholders to align Vietnam operations with global strategy
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and operational standards
  • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect delivery and financial performance

Skills and experiencerequired:

  • Minimum 58 years of experience in operations, media localization, content production, or related industry
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams of 10 or more employees
  • Proven experience managing operational budgets and P&L responsibilities
  • Experience working with regional or global stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken)

Essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Media, Communication, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in operations leadership
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and client-facing projects

Desirable qualifications:

  • Experience in media localization, subtitling, dubbing, or content distribution
  • Experience working in a multinational or regional organization
  • Knowledge of Vietnam labor regulations and business environment
