Operations Manager (Customs & Logistics)
Job Description
- Lead and manage end-to-end operations, including customs clearance, trucking, and delivery, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and service excellence
- Review and approve customs declarations, HS codes, and related documentation to maintain accuracy and mitigate compliance risks
- Provide strategic guidance on complex cases involving licensing, product policies, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with Sales teams and clients to deliver tailored, value-added logistics and customs solutions
- Monitor operational KPIs, identify potential risks/issues, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role (Assistant Manager/Manager) within Forwarding or Logistics
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields
- Solid knowledge of customs procedures, forwarding operations, and regulatory compliance
- Good command of English (working proficiency)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in budget control and basic commercial awareness (sales mindset is a plus)
