As the business enters its next phase of growth and operational transformation, they are seeking a senior production leader to strengthen manufacturing performance and drive continuous improvement across the factory.
Job Description
As an Operations Director, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing operational strategies to optimise production processes.
- Overseeing the Engineering & Manufacturing department to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Monitoring and analysing operational performance metrics.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Leading and mentoring team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Identifying and mitigating operational risks.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Operations Director Should Have
- Proven experience in operations management within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Experienced manufacturing leader with strong expertise in production management, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- They should demonstrate excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to improve productivity, quality and operational performance across a large-scale factory.
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English is required for local candidates; Mandarin and English are required for Taiwanese or Chinese candidates.
