Job Description

Working location: Ho Chi Minh City |   Type of employee: Full-time

Report to: Vice President |   Level: Director

The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the Company's core operational functions, with primary focus on Finance & Accounting, corporate governance, and legal oversight, while supporting the effective management of broader shared services across the organization.

This role serves as a key business partner to the leadership team, ensuring strong internal controls, operational efficiency, and compliance standards to support sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in Finance & Accounting, combined with leadership experience in cross-functional business operations and the capability to gradually expand oversight across additional corporate functions.

I. Responsibilities:

1. Finance, Governance & Compliance

  • Oversee Finance & Accounting & Legal operations, including budgeting, financial planning, cash flow management, and internal controls.
  • Strengthen corporate governance frameworks, compliance standards, and operational risk management practices.
  • Provide legal oversight on contracts, licensing, regulatory matters, and coordination with external advisors.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including corporate financing, credit facilities, and treasury-related matters..

2. Operational Leadership

  • Drive operational excellence and process efficiency across core business functions.
  • Develop and improve policies, SOPs, and internal processes to support organizational scalability and business continuity.
  • Identify risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities across operational workflows.

3. Cross-functional Management

  • Partner with and support shared service functions including HR, Operations Admin, IT, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and strengthen accountability across teams.
  • Support organizational development and operational alignment across Vietnam and regional markets when required.

4. Strategic Business Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on operational priorities, business risks, and organizational improvement opportunities.
  • Support strategic planning, resource allocation, and long-term business growth initiatives.

II. Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Law; professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) are highly preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience, with a strong foundation in Finance & Accounting leadership.
  • Mandatory experience in Finance & Accounting, with solid exposure to corporate governance, compliance, and legal-related matters.
  • Proven experience in building or improving internal controls, business processes, and operational frameworks.
  • Experience overseeing or collaborating with additional corporate functions such as HR, Administration, IT, or Logistics is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in Vietnamese and English.
