This position reports to:
Planning and Fulfillment Manager__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate constrained engineering and production plan, material plan, and Work-In-Progress (WIP) inventory rationalization, including Sales in Excess (SIE) of invoicing to improve service levels. Each day, you will assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating constrained engineering (for Engineered-To-Order businesses) and production plan, use rough-cut and detailed capacity planning, and link it to the demand plan. You will also showcase your expertise by optimizing working capital.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
Running planning review processes (S&OP / S&OE) and facilitating cross-functional alignment meetings
Developing Rough-Cut Capacity Plans, identifying constraints, and proposing short- and long-term mitigation actions
Translating demand plans into feasible production, engineering, and material plans
Monitoring inventory performance, including SIE and WIP, and driving WIP rationalization initiatives through the Inventory Checkbook
Identifying root causes of deviations from plans and implementing corrective actions to improve delivery performance and adherence
Collaborating with key stakeholders to balance customer demand, capacity, and inventory targets
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes, tools, and data quality
Qualifications for the role
Strong experience in supply planning, operations planning, or production planning within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Proven experience (typically 3-7 years) in supply chain, operations, or planning roles
Solid understanding of capacity planning, MRP, demand planning, and inventory management principles
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and planning tools, with strong analytical skills (Excel/Power BI preferred)
Knowledge or exposure to Engineered-to-Order (ETO), Make-to-Order (MTO), or service-based supply chains is highly desirable
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions
A degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
Fluency in English and Vietnamese (additional regional languages are a plus)
