Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead asset performance optimization initiatives across operating renewable energy projects.
  • Monitor and analyze key operational KPIs including availability, performance ratio, energy yield, and downtime.
  • Identify underperformance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive optimization of O&M strategies, preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
  • Review, standardize, and enhance O&M processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead the development and implementation of SOPs aligned with international standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to site-based O&M teams and contractors.
  • Support project handover from construction to operations.
  • Champion HSE excellence and foster a strong safety culture across all sites
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and international HSE standards.
  • Lead or support HSE audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and risk management.
  • Ensure operational compliance with applicable international standards (IEC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Oversee internal and external audits related to operations, quality, and HSE.
  • Ensure technical and contractual compliance with OEM and O&M agreements.
  • Provide oversight and hands-on expertise across:
  • - Rooftop Solar PV
  • - Utility-scale Ground-mounted Solar
  • - Wind Energy projects (preferred)
  • Prepare and present operational and HSE performance reports to management.
  • Coordinate with Asset Management, Engineering, HSE, and Commercial teams.
  • Liaise with OEMs, O&M contractors, and external service providers.
  • Communicate effectively with regional and international stakeholders in English.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Must have 8–12 years of experience in renewable energy operations, O&M, or asset performance.
  • Strong hands-on experience with solar and wind projects.
  • Solid knowledge of international standards and HSE best practices.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams or contractors.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
