Job Overview
The Operations Manager will responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, managing vendor relationships (Security, Customs, Transportation), and ensuring 100% compliance with both Group global standards and Vietnamese local regulations.
Responsibilities & Duties
1.Operational Leadership
- Manage and oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including import/export shipments, air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, first & last mile transportation for high-value and sensitive cargo movements (luxury goods, jewelry, watches, fashion, etc.).
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs to optimize operational performance, service quality, and compliance.
- Maintain strict control over documentation accuracy
- Monitor shipment KPIs, service delivery timelines, and operational efficiency metrics.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor compliance with service and security requirements.
2. Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop an operations team
- Set performance objectives, conduct evaluations, and support employee growth.
- Foster a culture of accountability, work ownership, collaboration, and service excellence.
3. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, customs authorities, airlines, vendors, and internal regional teams.
- Support key accounts with operational strategy, escalation management, and service improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Regional Management to align operational execution with business goals.
4. Financial & Performance Management
- Control operational costs, budgeting, and resource allocation while maximizing profitability.
- Analyse operational reports and identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiency.
- Support invoice validation, vendor negotiations, and service profitability reviews.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- At least 3–5 years in a managerial role within logistics or transportation.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnam customs regulations, import/export procedures, and compliance standards.
- Experience in high-value, or secure logistics operations is highly preferred.
- Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, crisis management, and decision-making skills.
- Strong proficiency in operational systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese.

Company Internal Budget
- Gross Salary: 40M-50M VND (1520-1900 USD) per month
- Benefit: Full Insurance per local regulation, 13th month salary and performance bonus (subject to company's decision each year)
