Role Description The Operation Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role is responsible for monitoring daily bus operations, ensuring schedules are adhered to, and coordinating with drivers, station staff, and customer service teams to resolve operational issues promptly. The Operation Controller oversees route planning, vehicle allocation, and real-time adjustments to maintain safety, punctuality, and service quality. The role includes tracking operational performance, preparing reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Operation Controller also collaborates with management to implement operational policies, compliance standards, and service enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or operations control, preferably in passenger transport or related service industries.
  • Strong skills in scheduling, route planning, and resource coordination, with the ability to manage multiple routes and timelines.
  • Proficiency in using operational software, spreadsheets, and communication tools to track performance and coordinate teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in time-sensitive situations.
  • Effective communication skills in English; Vietnamese and/or Khmer language skills are an advantage.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety, customer service, and consistent service quality.
  • Ability to work on-site in Ho Chi Minh City, including shifts, weekends, or holidays as required by operational needs.
  • Relevant education in business, logistics, transport management, or related fields; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
