Overview
We areseekinga reliable and service-orientedJuniorOnsite IT Support Engineer to provide daily technical support to end users at the client's premises. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, ensuring that users receivetimelyand effective support for their devices, applications, and connectivity.
The position focuses on end-user computing support, workstation deployment, troubleshooting, and IT asset management, while alsoassistingthe central IT team with infrastructure maintenance and project implementation. The ideal candidate shouldpossessstrong technical troubleshooting skills,good communicationabilities, and a proactive attitude in supporting business operations.
Key Responsibilities
End User Technical Support
Provide daily onsite IT support to end users for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and user access.
Support users with email, office productivity tools, printers, and other office equipment.
Escalate unresolved technical issues to relevant support teams when necessary.
Computer Installation & System Deployment
Perform computer installation, configuration, and system setup fornew users.
Create andmaintainstandard system images for workstation deployment.
Install and configure required corporate software and security tools.
Ensure systemscomply withcompany IT policies and configuration standards.
Endpoint Security Support
Install, configure, andmaintainanti-virus and endpoint protection software.
Ensure systemsremainupdated withlatestsecurity patches and antivirus definitions.
Assistwith troubleshooting endpoint security alerts or issues.
Basic Windows Server Support
Assistwith basic maintenance and monitoring of Windows Server systems.
Support routine tasks such as user account setup, password reset, and access requests.
Work with senior infrastructure teams for server-related troubleshooting or escalation.
Telephony & Communication Systems
Provide basic support for office telephone systems and communication tools.
Assistusers with phone configuration and troubleshooting.
Network & Connectivity Support
Provide basic network troubleshooting, including LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
Assistwith troubleshooting network device connections and user connectivity problems.
Escalate complex network issues to the network engineering team whenrequired.
Video & Voice Conferencing Support
Support video conferencing systems and collaboration platforms.
Assistwith meeting room setup and troubleshooting during conferences or events.
Ensure audio and video systems function properly for meetings.
IT Asset & Inventory Management
Maintainaccurateinventory records of all IT assets including laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals.
Track asset allocation, lifecycle, and replacement schedules.
Support asset tagging and documentation updates.
Documentation & Knowledge Base
Create andmaintainIT knowledge base articles, user guides, and technical documentation.
Develop end-user manuals and troubleshooting guides.
Ensure documentation is updated and accessible to relevant teams.
