Online Data Collection Specialist

Job Description:

• Oversee and manage the data collection process, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with research standards.
• Monitor and update survey quotas, ensuring timely and effective data acquisition.
• Collect data from online platforms and sources, ensuring systematic organisation and storage.
• Utilise advanced Microsoft Excel functions to maintain data sets, manage data quality, and prepare for analysis.
• Apply knowledge of digital ads metrics to assess online campaigns&apos effectiveness and relevance to research initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine survey methodologies and enhance questionnaire design for optimal response rates.
• Troubleshoot data collection issues, implement best practices, and suggest improvements to data management processes.
• Maintain documentation related to data collection methodologies to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in data science, statistics, digital marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in data collection management, preferably in a research or analytical capacity.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data management and analysis functions.
• Familiarity with digital advertising metrics, particularly Facebook ads, and their implications for data collection surveys.
• Basic understanding of quantitative market research principles and methodologies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data collection projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and ethical considerations in survey data collection.
