Location: MSU Bakery

Dish Room

Pay $14.00

As an On-Call Dish Room team member of the Bakery, you will be responsible for the operation of the MSU Bakery's dish room.

Typical Duties May Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Operation of dish machine and three compartment sink, maintain sanitation standards.
  • Perform periodic cleaning of dish machine, walls, ceilings, doors, shelves and sinks.
  • Scraping, washing, drying and storing bakery items such as industrial size mixing bowls and attachments, sheet pans, small utensils and more.
  • Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors of bakery
  • Assist with taking care of stock that is delivered from Food Stores.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to work 25 hours a week
  • Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
  • Must be positive and respectful, especially when working with a diverse population.
  • Must be able to work 9 am to 2:00 pm Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time in one place.

Physical Demands

Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Hours

The bakery is operational Sunday-Friday, between the hours of 4 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Must be able to work 25 hours a week

Must be able to work 9 am to 2:00 pm Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
