Headquartered in Australia, our client is a dynamic logistics firm specializing in international air and sea freight between China and Australia. Having successfully established five branches across Australia and three in China, we are now embarking on an exciting new chapter: expanding into Vietnam with our inaugural branch in Ho Chi Minh City.

Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized, reliable, and proactive entry-level Office Operations Team Member to support our daily international operations.

As a foundational member of our new Ho Chi Minh City branch, you will play a crucial role in keeping our fast-paced office running efficiently while ensuring our local team has the administrative support they need.

Because you will handle frequent communications with our internal staff across Australia and China, a solid command of the English and Mandarin language is essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• General Administration & Operations Support: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing daily communications via emails, phone calls, and internal team chats.

• Logistics Tracking: Learn and utilize our proprietary in-house shipping software to accurately track international parcels, update system records, and assist the operations team with shipment statuses.

• Bilingual Communication: Serve as a vital communication bridge between our new Ho Chi Minh City branch and our overseas offices in Australia and China. Utilize your strong language skills (either English at an IELTS 6.0+ level OR Mandarin at an HSK 5+ level) to collaborate effectively and clarify operational details with international colleagues.

• Office Management: Ensure the new office space runs efficiently by managing basic office supplies, organizing digital and physical paperwork, and maintaining a welcoming, energetic environment for the local team.

• Team Assistance: Provide proactive, on-the-ground support to the local management and operations team as we establish and grow our presence in the Vietnamese market.

Qualifications

• No prior experience is necessary! We hire for attitude and potential over experience, and we will provide comprehensive in-house training for all systems and day-to-day operations.

• To effectively communicate with our overseas teams, you must possess either: English (IELTS 6.0+ or equivalent) or Mandarin proficiency (HSK 5+ or equivalent). Being able to speak both languages is a big plus.

• Comfortable with digital communication and standard office tools, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel) and daily email management.
