ISP School Nurse Key Responsibilities

  • Control medicine/first aid equipment/supplies and report to Operation Manager for replenishment to meet compliance standards.
  • Attends to the medical needs of students.
  • Administer appropriate first aid to students and staff when required
  • Provide assistance and follow-up with students and staff if they need to be transferred to a clinic/hospital.
  • Plan for prevention of seasonal/transmitted diseases e.g. Chicken pox, measles, etc
  • Record accidents in the Accident Record Book.
  • Conduct physical checks for newly enrolled students, termly physical checks and twice-yearly checks for other students.
  • Monitor special cases, attends and checks on students who are on medication.
  • Record and maintain a growth chart of height and weight of student from Grade 1
  • Maintain detailed medical records of students.
  • Supports Office Managers to:
  • Monitor cleanliness of water dispensers daily
  • Assist in receptionist area when required.
  • Might have to take some additional duties e.g. substitute for bus monitor (in case the other staff sick) or on roster for early drop off/ late pick up service
  • Attend activities at school when required.
  • Prepare related report when required.
  • Other task assigned by Line Manager.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or College's Degree in Medical/health
  • At least 02 years working experience as Nurse, especially in Education Industry
