ISP School Nurse Key Responsibilities
- Control medicine/first aid equipment/supplies and report to Operation Manager for replenishment to meet compliance standards.
- Attends to the medical needs of students.
- Administer appropriate first aid to students and staff when required
- Provide assistance and follow-up with students and staff if they need to be transferred to a clinic/hospital.
- Plan for prevention of seasonal/transmitted diseases e.g. Chicken pox, measles, etc
- Record accidents in the Accident Record Book.
- Conduct physical checks for newly enrolled students, termly physical checks and twice-yearly checks for other students.
- Monitor special cases, attends and checks on students who are on medication.
- Record and maintain a growth chart of height and weight of student from Grade 1
- Maintain detailed medical records of students.
- Supports Office Managers to:
- Monitor cleanliness of water dispensers daily
- Assist in receptionist area when required.
- Might have to take some additional duties e.g. substitute for bus monitor (in case the other staff sick) or on roster for early drop off/ late pick up service
- Attend activities at school when required.
- Prepare related report when required.
- Other task assigned by Line Manager.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or College's Degree in Medical/health
- At least 02 years working experience as Nurse, especially in Education Industry
