Established in Ho Chi Minh City in 2019, Faraday Technology Vietnam is developing into a full-fledged R&D center with engineering capabilities spanning RTL design, design verification, DFT and STA, physical design, memory design, AI software, and post-silicon validation.

About the Role:

Faraday Technology Vietnam is seeking an experienced Non-Volatile Memory Design Lead to lead the development of advanced NVM circuits and IP solutions.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work closely with circuit, layout, device, process, reliability, product, and cross-site engineering teams. The role will also contribute to building and developing Faraday's NVM engineering capability in Vietnam.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree
  • 7+ years NVM circuit design engineering experience (Floating gate NVM, e.g. OTP, EEPROM, FLASH, etc.)
  • Knowledge of memory device physics, including non-volatile memory devices
  • Knowledge of semiconductor device physics
  • Solid understanding of CMOS and memory process flows and device integration, NVM operation and reliability
  • Working knowledge of yield and data analysis
  • Knowledge of SPICE simulation and design/layout tools

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge of various logic, analog, and mixed signal circuit's functionality, can co-work with cross-site engineers.
  • Knowledge and user of data analysis tools as well as parsing code languages such as PERL and Python
  • An understanding of semiconductor reliability issues including channel hot carrier(CHC), NBTI, stress and snapback, as well as Electromigration (EM) and IR analysis
  • Fluent English, good communication and documentation skills, should have experience in a multi-site environment, interacting with teams in other sites.
  • Ability to organize tasks and manage schedules while working simultaneously with multiple organizations and multiple management chains. Hands-on person willing to take ownership
  • Ability to drive for success and thrive in a fast-paced development environment with multiple shifting priorities
