Job Responsibilities:
The incumbent acts a New Equipment Construction Manager for the whole country to lead installation & project management with full duties, but not limited to:
- Ensure the implementation of safety policies and compliance in creating a safe working environment, arrange all required safety permits and organizing the required trainings and FPA for executives, employees and contractors.
- Strategize vison in alignment with country/area strategic direction for the company in Vietnam on long term as well short-term goals for construction execution with clear actions for implementation.
- Implement global/area/country policies & procedures for the entire Vietnam.
- Ensure quality management system focused on consistently meeting customer requirements and in alignment with organization's purpose and strategic direction.
- Coordinate with Sales in cost estimation during the tender process and ensure periodic meetings with sales and service department in resolving issues that may arise.
- Develop the team in following post order management through SIP and collaborate with all the stake holders in meeting the target set, communication with customers etc.
- Plan required resources including manpower, tools and tackles etc in short term as well long term.
- Develop execution capability including major/Infra/High Rise projects.
- Understand in detail the Project Specifications and Shop drawings.
- Contacting manufacturing factories in case of data support required from them.
- Focus on account receivables and work closely with CFO on cash flow improvements. Also Improve efficiency and closely monitor actual cost Vs the project estimates and ensure no deviations.
- Work with CFO on monthly forecast meetings and ensure accurate forecast on completion as well deliveries.
- Active participation in management meetings.
- Other ad-hoc or tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years similar experiences as a project manager, construction manager, installation manager or equivalent.
- Have prior supervisory experiences to manage a team of Site Supervisors and dealing with Main Contractors/Subcontractors and Clients.
- Have strong technical knowledge of installation works of elevators, escalators and dumbwaiters.
- Have knowledge of ISO procedures.
- Team player and results-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Words, Power Point and Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; with strong presentation skills.
