Responsibilities
- Research networking products/solutions from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Aruba, Extreme, H3C, Dell, etc.
- Operate and maintain customers network systems.
- Receive and handle incident information promptly to ensure fast troubleshooting and timely resolution.
- Provide hands-on technical support to both onsite/field teams and internal teams for installation, usage, and maintenance of networking equipment, ensuring the network operates in compliance with technical requirements.
- Work with vendors/partners to deploy solutions, troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Analyze requirements and prepare solution documents/presentations for customers.
- Stay up to date on new technologies, solutions, and products relevant to assigned tasks; evaluate and propose applicable improvements.
Qualifications
Experience: 13 years of relevant experience.
Technical Knowledge:
- Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, L2/L3VPN, BGP, OSPF, etc.
- Understanding of data center networks and service provider networks.
- Ability to read and understand English technical documentation for deployment and troubleshooting.
- Preferably holds certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, or has a clear certification roadmap.
- Preferably has experience deploying network infrastructure for customers in Banking and/or Telco sectors.
- Preferably familiar with advanced technologies such as BGP EVPN, VXLAN, QoS, Segment Routing, SRv6, and SDN solutions (e.g., SD-Access, SD-WAN, ACI) from vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
