Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network and Camera Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have strong network engineering skillsincluding advanced configuration of switches, routers, VLANs, routing, and VPNsand the ability to support secure and efficient connectivity between our servers and client CCTV systems.

Direct experience with CCTV systems (DVRs, NVRs, IP cameras) is a strong plus, but not mandatory. Candidates with solid networking expertise and a willingness to learn about CCTV integration on the job are encouraged to apply.

This position offers hybrid work flexibilityyou can work remotely, with occasional visits to our office or client sites for on-site configuration. The role also involves participating in online meetings with team members and clients, so clear English communication (written and spoken) is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Network Management

  • Design, configure, and maintain the company's internal network infrastructure (servers, PCs, switches, routers, firewalls).
  • Ensure network performance, stability, and security across all internal systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, implement optimizations, and manage secure remote access (VPN).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation and diagrams.

Client Integration and Support

  • Collaborate with clients to analyze and optimize their CCTV network setups for stable and efficient video transmission.
  • Provide technical consultation on configuring network connections for DVRs, NVRs, and IP cameras.
  • Configure and manage secure connections (VPNs, tunnels, firewalls) between client systems and company servers.
  • Assist in troubleshooting connectivity or bandwidth issues affecting video data transfer.
  • Learn and apply CCTV networking concepts through real-world tasks and collaboration with experienced colleagues.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong hands-on experience in networking, including:
  • Switches, routers, VLANs, routing protocols, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Network security principles and performance optimization.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a hybrid and client-facing environment.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with CCTV systems (DVRs, NVRs, IP cameras, VMS platforms).
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+.
  • Experience with QoS, traffic shaping, and video data optimization.
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux server networking and network monitoring tools (PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
