Role Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled Motion & Graphic Designer with a strong emphasis on animation, motion design, and video editing to join our dynamic team at Yield Guild Games.
In this role, you will be instrumental in creating engaging and impactful video content for our marketing channels, while also contributing to our overall brand visual identity through 2D graphic design.
You will collaborate closely with our marketing and cross-functional teams to produce compelling visual assets that resonate with our target audiences and drive business results.
Key Responsibilities
Motion & Video Content Creation (75%):
- Develop and produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content optimized for various marketing channels (social media, website, presentations, etc.).
- Edit and enhance video footage, incorporating motion graphics, sound design, and visual effects to create engaging narratives.
- Conceptualize and execute video-based content strategies that effectively communicate our B2C concepts and product features to diverse personas.
- Optimize video content for different platforms and devices, ensuring optimal performance and visual quality.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute video campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and marketing objectives.
2D Graphic Design Execution (25%):
- Design and produce high-quality 2D visual assets for marketing materials, sales enablement assets, websites, and other digital platforms, such as sales decks, UI mockups, offline event materials, e-books, social media assets, and website static elements.
- Uphold YGG brand standards and guidelines across all design assets, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity.
Project Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Leadership, Marketing, HR) to understand design project requirements and objectives.
- Identify underlying challenges and propose innovative design strategies to address them.
- Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Design Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all design deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brief.
Design Operations:
- Develop and maintain a systematic file organization system for all design assets and working files to ensure efficient access and retrieval.
- Regularly audit design processes and propose ways for improvement where necessary.
Graphic Design Best Practice & Innovation:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in motion graphics, video editing, and graphic design.
- Propose innovative designs, tools, and techniques and help to educate our teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a brand or corporate designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, video editing, and 2D graphic design skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Motion Graphics, or a related field.
- Strong emphasis on motion graphics and video editing expertise.
- Proven experience in creating and editing compelling video content for marketing purposes.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma) and familiarity with Canva.
- Excellent understanding of animation principles, video production techniques, typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Excellent command of English in writing and speaking (Upper intermediate or Advanced level).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate design concepts clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and effective designs.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and communicate with global stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills and a proven ability to deliver projects on time.

About This Position
- We are looking for local candidates in Ho Chi Minh City or candidates who are willing to relocate.
- This position is fully on-site.
- The monthly salary range for this position is $800 to $1,200 plus applicable bonus and other standard benefits.
- The English language requirement for this position is: Conversational.
