Summary:
This job holder plays an important role between Omron and mold vendors.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate supplier's mold design drawings to ensure feasibility, production efficiency and cost optimization.
- Propose design improvements to shorten cycle times, extend mold life, and reduce product defects.
- Evaluate supplier's mold manufacturing capabilities and make recommendations for improvement
- Monitor mold testing results, troubleshoot, and ensure stable mold transfer into production.
Qualifications
- Graduated from intermediate level majoring Mechanical, Mold engineering, related fields.
- Can communicate in English/ Japanese
- Minimum 2 years experience in mold design.
- Understand the process of mold manufacturing.
- Have knowledge of mold cost structure, mold quotation analysis. - Read and understand 2D, 3D drawings.
Other information :
- Probation of 60 days
- Working time: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:45, 4 Saturdays working per year.
- Training: Internal & external training on soft skills and professional expertise.

12 days of annual leave.
