Middle/Senior Java Engineer

Job Description

• Collaborate with the Project Manager (PM) and project development members to analyze product specifications, changes to specifications, and new feature additions.
• Participate in project development as a Middle/Senior Software Engineer from the Outline Design and Detail Design phases to Development/Implementation, Code Review, Unit Testing, and Release. You may also receive training to become a Principal Software Engineer.
• Design databases, develop features, and support other team members.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the PM.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience and passion for web application development using:
• Languages:Java
• JavaScript, jQuery
• Databases:PostgreSQL, MySQL...
• Frameworks:Spring, Spring Boot, Struts, Seasar2, Hibernate...
• Experience withAutomation Testingtools: JMeter, JUnit, Selenium
• Experience withDevOpstools: Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker
• Ability to create and present easy-to-understand technical documentation and share knowledge with teammates
• Strong technical research and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Proficient in using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.
• Good English reading comprehension skills
• Ability to read, understand, and analyze business requirements from clients
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Understanding of Japan company workflows and working styles is an advantage
