We are seeking Middle Java Engineers who are motivated, resultsdriven, and passionate about building scalable microservices for bankingrelated frontend applications. As part of our delivery team, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle and provide strong technical expertise to ensure highquality delivery. You will work closely with international teams in an Agile environment and participate in ongoing technology transformation initiatives for the client.
Job Description
As a Middle Java Engineer, your key responsibilities include:
- Develop, review, and implement Java applications and services in both production and prerelease environments.
- Build, maintain, and enhance continuous integration pipelines, deployment scripts, and related tooling.
- Participate in Agile software development, prototyping, and code reviews with global teams.
- Develop scalable microservices and APIs using Java technologies on AWS Cloud architecture.
- Work with product owners and stakeholders to fully understand business and technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Ensure robust coding practices, solid unit/component test coverage, and effective debugging.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Java Developer in complex or enterprise-level environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
- Solid experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems.
- Practical experience working with relational databases (e.g., writing queries, integrating with applications).
- Exposure to Cloud environments, particularly AWS (Serverless experience is a plus).
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-structured, and well-documented code.
- Good understanding of software engineering best practices, testing approaches, and standard development processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good English communication skills (verbal and written), especially when collaborating with global teams.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Resilience4j.
- Experience with Kafka and/or S3.
- Experience with ReactJS and Node.js.
