We are looking for a Mid/Senior QC Engineer to join our software development team for an ERP/HRM system. This role will play a key part in ensuring product quality through hands-on testing while also supporting and coordinating QC activities within the team. The position requires solid experience in ERP/HRM systems, strong testing skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities- Take responsibility for quality assurance activities within assigned ERP/HRM modules.
- Analyze business requirements, system workflows, and technical designs to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements and specifications.
- Execute manual testing and support automated testing where applicable.
- Support task coordination within the QC team and assist in tracking testing progress and issues.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to clarify requirements, reproduce defects, and validate fixes.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and release readiness discussions.
- Review test results and ensure defects are clearly documented and tracked.
- Support and mentor junior QC members when needed.
- Prepare and maintain clear testing documentation and reports.
- Communicate testing status and issues clearly to internal stakeholders and, when required, to clients.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in ERP or HRM systems.
- Solid understanding of ERP/HRM business processes (Payroll, Leave, Attendance, HR core, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in manual testing, with basic knowledge or exposure to automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, and basic familiarity with Selenium or similar tools is a plus.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned testing tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
Nice-to-have- ISTQB or other QA-related certifications.
- Experience working in Hybrid (Agile - Waterfall) environments.
- Experience working with or supporting international clients.
- Prior experience guiding or mentoring junior QC members.
