Mid Data Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Data Engineer in the OpEx team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining modern data pipelines that ensure fresh, reliable, and accurate data for business intelligence, marketing automation, operational analytics, and market intelligence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow, DBT, or equivalent tools;

- Ensure data freshness < 1 hour across the entire data ecosystem;

- Work with storage systems like ClickHouse, BigQuery, PostgreSQL;

- Integrate data from internal systems:

• Marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta);
• CDP, app/web events;
• CRM, POS;

- Integrate external market data sources, including:

• E-commerce marketplace data (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Amazon);
• Social & trend signals (TikTok trends, Google Trends, social signals);
• Competitor pricing & promotion data;
• Advertising benchmark data;
• External business signals (weather, seasonality, holidays);

- Develop data quality checks and alerting systems to ensure pipeline reliability;

- Standardize and harmonize multi-source data into a unified data model for analytics and decision-making;

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 - 5 years of experience with data pipelines and data engineering;
• Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow);
• Solid understanding of modern data architectures (data lakehouse, CDC, streaming);
• Experience integrating data via APIs or external data sources is a plus;
• Bonus: background in eCommerce, retail, or adtech analytics;
