About the Department:

The Merchandising Planning Department plays a critical role in driving business performance by:

  • Identifying sales trends and providing strategic direction to achieve fiscal targets.
  • Managing merchandise sales plans, promotional and markdown strategies to optimize sales, inventory, profit, and sell-through objectives.
  • Delivering in-season financial projections and strategies while identifying risks and opportunities to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Production, E-Commerce, and Store Operations teams to ensure alignment with company initiatives.

About the Role:

As a Merchandising Planning Staff, you will: Act as a key contributor to planning and executing merchandise strategies for Vietnam's business. Support the development of buying and pricing strategies for current and future seasons. Build and manage daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal product strategies, ensuring alignment with growth objectives. Monitor business performance versus targets and proactively adjust plans to achieve strong results .

Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Inventory Planning:

  • Create and manage sales budgets and inventory purchase plans.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure healthy stock turnover until sell-out.

2. Pricing & Buying Strategy:

  • Establish pricing strategies and buying plans for seasonal assortments.

3. Performance Management:

  • Track KPIs (sales, inventory, gross margin) and adjust plans to meet targets.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with Marketing for promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Work closely with Production to align delivery schedules and quantities.

5. Operational Execution:

  • Issue purchase orders (POs) and monitor production and delivery schedules from factory to warehouse.

6. Risk & Opportunity Analysis:

  • Identify potential risks and opportunities to maximize profitability

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics or related fields .
  • Relevant experience in merchandising planning, or retail business operations.
  • Strong analytical skills for sales and inventory management
  • English: Business level (Written & Verbal) is a must.
  • Experienced person about Production management position/ Management planning position/ Brand manager position except designer.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and retail IT environments.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
