HIVELAB is now expanding into the K-beauty and cosmetics industry, with the goal of bringing Korean beauty, quality, and trends closer to Vietnamese consumers.
Scope of Work:
- Develop product selection strategies based on market trends, consumer demand, and brand positioning in the cosmetics category.
- Propose potential brands and products for sourcing; work closely with the KR team on supplier sourcing and negotiations.
- Source and manage relationships with domestic suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead times, and commercial terms to optimize cost structure and margins.
- Build and manage product cost structures, including COGS, pricing, and gross margin by SKU and category.
- Plan purchase quantities and inventory levels to ensure healthy inventory turnover and cash flow.
- Track product performance, sell-through, inventory aging, and category profitability.
- Prepare product and category P&L reports and performance analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align buying plans with sales targets and campaign execution.
- Support product launches, promotion planning, and product lifecycle management.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product buying, merchandising, or commercial roles within the cosmetics industry (K-beauty experience is a strong advantage).
- Strong analytical and financial skills, with confidence in working with numbers, margins, and Excel.
- Solid understanding of beauty market trends and consumer behavior.
- Korean proficiency at TOPIK level 4 or above.
- Proficiency in English is an advantage.
