Role Description
The Merchandise Planning Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This position involves managing inventory levels, executing sales forecasts, and driving strategic planning initiatives to optimize business performance. The role oversees alignment of sales targets with inventory and operational strategies, monitors performance metrics, and ensures the delivery of high-quality data analysis to maximize efficiency. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a vital role in driving merchandise-related decisions and enhancing profitability for the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities for interpreting market trends and business reports
- Proficiency in Planning and Inventory Management for ensuring operational efficiency and stock optimization
- Experience in Sales and strategic decision-making to meet and exceed business goals
- Ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively across teams, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in relevant tools and data systems; familiarity with retail or fashion merchandising is highly advantageous
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or fashion
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
