Purpose of Position:
- Support Vietnam production factories on new items follow-up, printed packaging & buyer's samples checking.
- On-site coordinate with factories on customer visits to Vietnam production factories.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow up new items production and shipments at Vietnam, including but not limited to check pre production samples, production samples to buyer / US, printed packaging cartons, hangtags, assembly instructions and labels on site at Vietnam factories.
- Daily communicate with China office / U.S. Sales, customer Asia office for PO's & shipments issues.
- Follow up with factories, internal parties and customers on the new items PO's ship date confirmation, production & inspection tracking until to actual shipments. Make sure on time shipments.
- Keep close communication with China merchandise team, R&D, and VN factories through new items whole process to make sure on time shipment, including new components tooling, handover sample, 3rd party testing samples & communications, customer samples sign-up, pre-production sample, packaging design tracking, checking, and releasing to factories, pilot run.
- Coordinate customer visits & meetings, support on meeting preparation, including pricing, quote sheets, and other documents. Log to customer system for quoting, spec input when necessary, etc.
- Overseas travel between China, Vietnam, or other countries for orders production follow-up, customer visits, or other needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant majors.
- More than 2 years of relevant working experience in merchandising, familiar with the production processes.
- Professional working proficiency in Chinese and English.
- Operate office software like Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, latest AI tools (DouBao, etc.) skillfully.
- Good personality & interpersonal skills, well organized. Good attention to detail, effective problem-solving, and organization skills.
- Willing to travel, OK for working overseas in Vietnam all year round, and sign VN employment contract.
- Work well under big pressure. Work independently and proactively, able to endure pressure alone and deliver quality results conscientiously.
