Support construction due diligence activities for project participation (MEP, construction costs, development regulations, etc.).
Manage and apply the company's technical standards across projects; provide training to local staff, especially in MEP areas.
Assist in construction project management from a developer perspective, covering both design and engineering aspects.
Translate technical information from the Construction Technology Management Department (HQ – Japan) into English and Vietnamese, and communicate effectively with local teams.
Prepare reports and provide explanations in Japanese related to development regulations and construction technologies in Vietnam.
Review drawings and provide feedback to improve usability and construction quality.
Propose technical improvements to JV partners, report on-site defects, and share feedback based on drawing reviews.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with JV partners engineering teams.
Provide interpretation support (Vietnamese – English) during meetings when required.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager and/or Project Engineering Director.
Initial Assignments
Support site project management (MEP) in Hanoi and Hai Phong areas.
Assist with construction due diligence for new project participation.
Update internal technical manuals for the Construction Team, especially in MEP.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction or Infrastructure (MEP focus preferred).
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in MEP systems.
Ability to manage MEP-related work on-site or in design (Mechanical and Plumbing experience is a plus).
Good command of English (both written and spoken); Japanese proficiency is an advantage.
Proficient in CAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong sense of ownership, teamwork, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
Willing to be based in Hanoi and travel to Hai Phong or other locations as required.
