ABOUT THE JOB

Job title: MechanicalEngineer

Level: Entry - Junior level

Department: Manufacturing

Report to: Engineering Manager

Working location: Thuan Hai Building, Street 24, Tan Thuan EPZ, Tan Thuan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, may travel regularly to different factories/plants.

Working schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM, Saturday Morning: 8:15 AM - 12:00 PM.

SUMMARY

Designed for candidates with a solid Mechanical Engineering foundation, this role is a fast-track to future management positions. You will travel across our factories to gain hands-on expertise in boiler systems through intensive on-site training. For high achievers, we offer unique opportunities for international career development at our overseas branches.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • System Operation & Monitoring: Operate and supervise systems, including boilers, air compressors, power generators, and power distribution cabinets, strictly following technical instructions.
  • Incident Reporting: Provide timely reports on equipment status and technical issues to manager to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor production metrics such as fuel consumption, capacity, and incident rates.
  • KPI Management: Collaborate in establishing and managing performance KPIs for boiler operations.
  • Reporting: Consolidate daily, weekly, and monthly operation reports from various workshops.
  • Manpower Administration: Update shift schedules, duty rosters, and monitor production personnel status.
  • Documentation: Maintain and archive contracts, technical dossiers, and operational handover minutes.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATION

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related fields.
  • Technical Skills: Strong foundation in mechanical systems and machinery operation.
  • English Proficiency: Ability to communicate in a professional environment; proficient in reading technical documents, operating standards, and maintenance manuals.
  • Soft Skills: Preference for candidates capable of professional email writing and effective communication with foreign suppliers or partners.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts and travel for business as required.
