Qualification/Requirements
- Should have a background as B.E or B Tech in Mechanical engineering.
- Subsea Manifold design and detail engineering experience.
- Strong in use of design tools such as Creo.
- Working knowledge in Team center.
Required Skills
- 2+ Years of experience in design of Subsea structures (preferably).
- Good knowledge of materials, welding and manufacturing processes and capabilities and assembly process.
- New Product development skills.
- Good knowledge in Creo or other 3D CAD systems and team center.
- Develop models and drawings of Connection systems within Connections Structures, Pressure containing Hubs, Clamps, Tooling, Test & Fabrication stands.
- Computer proficiency and strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
- Highly proactive and results oriented.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiar with relevant standards (NORSOK, ISO, ASME, API, etc.) and design requirements for subsea products.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
- The Subsea Design Engineer will be an integral part of the Subsea Design Engineering Team that is technical responsible for developing, delivering concepts and drawings for subsea products during its engineering phase of the project.
- To report to Senior Subsea CAD (design) Engineer and support in the project work.
- To perform CAD activities such as Concept design, Modeling, Detail engineering, Test reports and User manuals.
- To work on model, fabrication drawings, Test reports and User manuals.
- Participate in multidiscipline design reviews.
- To develop design reports.
- Continuously search for new innovative technical solutions to improve products, systems, and processes.
- Consider safety, quality, cost, manufacturability and subsea operability in designs.
