The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is looking for a Design Engineer to join our team in Vietnam. You will play a crucial role in the development and design of innovative products and systems that meet our customer needs and industry standards.
How You Will Make An Impact
- You will lead the development of design specifications and models, ensuring they meet all relevant standards and regulations.
- You will conduct thorough design reviews and verifications, implementing modifications to elevate project quality.
- You will monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring design milestones are achieved and projects are delivered on schedule.
- You will conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and seek opportunities for design innovations.
- You will engage with customers to capture and incorporate their feedback into design solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction.
- You will collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, selecting optimal materials and components.
- You will prepare and maintain detailed documentation that supports design processes and facilitates knowledge sharing.
- You will identify and implement continuous design improvements based on test results and industry best practices, enhancing quality and efficiency.

Your Background
- Degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in design engineering.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Pro-active attitude, self-motivated and with a strong sense of ownership.
- Open to change, feedback and continuous improvement.
