Your Job
As a Material Handler, you play a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate material flow to support production operations. This role is responsible for managing components and consumables, supervising material handling activities, controlling inventory accuracy, and coordinating with internal teams and third-party warehouses. Your work helps maintain production continuity, inventory integrity, and a safe, well-organized warehouse environment.
Our Team
You will be part of the Supply Planning and Warehouse Operations team, working closely with production, logistics, and cross-functional departments. The team ensures materials, components, and finished goods are available, accurately tracked, and delivered on time to support manufacturing requirements.
What You Will Do
- Enable uninterrupted production by ensuring timely receiving, storage, and delivery of components to production lines
- Support shop floor operations by planning, ordering, and supplying consumables based on production needs
- Maintain inventory accuracy by identifying and promptly escalating missing, damaged, or lost materials
- Apply inventory management principles such as FIFO and cycle counting to support stock accuracy and traceability
- Leverage SAP or other warehouse management systems to manage transactions, inventory control, and reporting
- Promote a safe and organized warehouse environment by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Monitor warehouse performance, including inventory levels, material flow efficiency, and fulfillment accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material-related issues and improve operational effectiveness
- Provide leadership and guidance to material handling operators, including performance feedback and coaching
- Coordinate with third-party warehouses to maintain inventory control and alignment with internal requirements
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- College degree or above, preferably in a relevant field
- Practical understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control principles
- Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems in a production environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken
What Will Put You Ahead
- Educational background in Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Hands-on experience using SAP for warehouse or inventory management
- Experience supervising warehouse operators or coordinating material handling teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and data tracking/reporting
