Position Summary

Meliá Hotels International offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to undertake an internship at our Asia Pacific Regional Office in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), supporting the APAC Marketing team. Asia is currently one of the most dynamic and strategic markets in the hospitality industry, and you will actively contribute to real projects impacting hotels across the region.

Role Overview

Learn from a team with over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry across Asia. Gain hands-on exposure to how marketing strategies are planned and executed at both regional and hotel levels in one of the world's most dynamic markets.

During the internship, you will support the APAC Marketing team in areas such as:

  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Supporting hotels in the implementation and follow-up of marketing plans
  • Monitoring and advising on social media strategies
  • Assisting in content creation and selection of visual and audiovisual materials
  • Designing and preparing presentations
  • Researching and coordinating with local and regional suppliers

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in international marketing within a multicultural and strategic environment.

Candidate Profile

  • High level of spoken and written English (mandatory)
  • Background in Marketing, Communication, or related fields is preferred
  • Strong interest in social media and digital environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, Excel, and basic video editing software is a plus
  • Proactive, well-organized, and eager to learn in a multicultural environment

Languages Required

  • English (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Chinese or another Asian language will be considered an asset

Education

Undergraduate or postgraduate student in Marketing, Communication, Tourism, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related fields.

Knowledge of Canva, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe tools will be considered a plus.
