ABOUT THE ROLE
As the MarCom Operations Manager, you sit at the critical intersection where Strategic Planning transitions into Execution.
Reporting directly to the MarCom Operations Director, you will serve as the squad commander accountable for project outcomes. You will establish and lead cross-functional Project Squads (15–20 members) drawn from 6-7 specialized pillars, driving operational cadence, ensuring timeline adherence, maintaining output quality, and enforcing strict SOP/SLA standards across major Group campaigns.
I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Squad Leadership (40%)
- Squad Setup: Form project squads at the first gate of approval, finalizing 15–20 personnel drawn from 7 specialized pillars.
- KPI Cascading: Establish and break down overall project targets and KPIs to individual squad members.
- Cadence & Delivery: Lead daily standup meetings during peak execution windows; maintain delivery pace and hold final accountability for project outcomes against agreed KPIs.
- Workload Capacity: Manage a maximum capacity of 2 active/on-air projects, OR 1 active project plus 1–3 upcoming projects.
2. Resource Allocation & Portfolio Management (25%)
- Resource Optimization: Dynamically allocate personnel across projects based on real-time workload.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve resource priority conflicts during weekly portfolio meetings.
- Escalation Management: Escalate issues exceeding delegated authority to the Head of MarCom within 24 hours.
3. SOP/SLA Enforcement & Output Quality Control (20%)
- Single-Door Intake: Enforce a single intake point for production requests; track traffic logs and SLA fulfillment rates committed to Business and Production units.
- Asset Approval: Review and approve marketing/communication assets prior to publishing, ensuring strict adherence to finalized messaging and visual guidelines.
- Sponsor Deliverables: Monitor committed items for sponsors; proactively identify and flag risks ahead of deadlines.
4. Project Post-Mortem & Operational Improvement (10%)
- Evaluate actual performance against initial KPIs; synthesize lessons learned and integrate insights into standardized workflows for subsequent projects.
II. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business. Proficient in MS Office/Excel, project management dashboards, and professional English.
- Experience: 5+ years in media operations or digital content production; 3+ years in management leading 5+ team members; proven track record managing 2+ major concurrent projects. Preferred but not required experience in entertainment, TV shows, or large-scale events preferred.
- Core Expertise: Proficient in multi-project portfolio management, SOP/SLA enforcement, operational budget control, and end-to-end digital content production workflows.
- AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience applying AI and automation tools to optimize workflows/traffic for 30+ team members, build automated progress reports, log SLA intake, and detect operational bottlenecks.
- Leadership & Mindset: Hands-on warrior mindset to unblock issues; strong cross-functional negotiation skills; ability to set clear targets and empower teams without micromanagement under high pressure.
