Position: Process Engineer – Optical Testing
Location: Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen (Daily Bus from Hanoi and Hai Duong)

100,000 m². This site will manufacture advanced products include high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.
About The Role
We are seeking a
Process Engineer – Optical Testing to support opto-electronic testing in the manufacturing of optical fiber cables and device assemblies. This role involves integrating custom-designed circuit boards and mechanical fixtures with advanced test equipment, analyzing test data using statistical tools, and driving root cause analysis for rejected parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and upgrade software for optical fiber and opto-electronic test systems across global manufacturing sites.
- Perform electrical testing, analyze data, identify critical quality aspects, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automated production test systems globally.
- Design and maintain test systems, including mechanical fixtures, PCB design, hardware integration, and documentation.
- Create and execute test plans, conduct reviews, and validate system performance.
- Prepare product and test system documentation, specifications, and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, Kaizen, EHS, RBA, and company asset protection standards.
- Support Molex TQM and Quality/Environmental Management Systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Preferred: M.S. in Engineering
Experience:
- Required: Minimum 2 years in test and measurement
- Preferred: 2–5 years in engineering with expertise in high-speed testing and design
Skills & Abilities
Required:
- Proficiency in C/C++, VB/C#, .NET framework, and Python
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills for global collaboration
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
Preferred:
- Experience with RF/microwave test equipment and transmission line theory
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL/MySQL)
- PCB design and electromagnetic simulation tools
- Lean/Six Sigma certification (Yellow/Green Belt)
