About SnapPower

SnapPower is a U.S.-based consumer products company that designs, develops, and manufactures innovative products for the home. We work with manufacturing partners throughout Asia, including Vietnam, China, and the Philippines.

We are looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Manager based in either Vietnam or China who will serve as SnapPower's primary representative with our Asian manufacturing and material supply partners. This person will work closely with our U.S.-based engineering and operations teams to manage production, quality, sourcing, logistics, supplier relationships, and new product development.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional who enjoys working directly with factories, solving problems, developing new products, and managing projects from development through mass production.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as SnapPower's primary point of contact with factories and suppliers throughout Asia
• Manage manufacturing projects and day-to-day factory relationships
• Visit factories during production runs to monitor progress, quality, and schedules
• Oversee quality control (QC) processes and help resolve manufacturing and quality issues
• Work closely with SnapPower's U.S.-based engineers on new product development
• Assist with prototypes, samples, tooling, design changes, and preparation for mass production
• Source and evaluate new factories and manufacturing partners
• Source materials, components, and packaging suppliers
• Negotiate product, tooling, material, and component pricing
• Audit and evaluate suppliers for quality, capability, capacity, cost, and reliability
• Coordinate product testing, regulatory certifications, and compliance requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, lead times, and cost
• Provide regular project updates, factory reports, photos, and recommendations to the U.S. team
• Travel regularly to manufacturing partners in Vietnam, China, and the Philippines

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, supplier management, product development, or a related field
• Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar technical experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and new product development
• Experience working with plastics and injection molding
• Experience with electronics, electrical components, assembly, and/or consumer products preferred
• Experience with packaging development and manufacturing
• Experience working with products manufactured for the U.S. market
• Strong supplier management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify manufacturing and quality issues and work directly with suppliers to resolve them
• Fluent or highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Comfortable working independently and representing a U.S.-based company with suppliers
• Willing and able to travel frequently between Vietnam, China and the Philippines

Compensation

$2,000–$2,500 USD per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

Business travel expenses related to factory visits and international travel will be covered by SnapPower.
