What you will do
- Production Optimization: Managing the end-to-end production process to ensure products meet precise customer specifications while maximizing yield.
- Cost Competitiveness: Driving VIU by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing cost-reduction strategies to maintain a competitive edge against global competition.
- Quality & Standards: Ensuring all output adheres to international quality standards and specific requirements from global customers.
- Smart Factory Integration: Overseeing the implementation of Digital Transformation and smart factory automation to improve real-time data monitoring and predictive maintenance.
- Safety & Environmental Management: Enforcing strict ESG policies, managing hazardous chemicals, and ensuring a zero-accident workplace in compliance with local labor laws.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture: Leading advanced knowledge transfer initiatives and mentoring next-generation engineering talents.
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years in fiber/textile or chemical manufacturing, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership/managerial capacity.
- Expertise of spinning, drawing, and twisting processes.
- Proven experience in TPM, Lean Six Sigma, and Smart Factory CIM systems.
- Native Korean; Professional working proficiency in English.
- Capability and willingness to undertake a multi-year international residency.
