BOA Technology (Shenzhen) Ltd. is a legal branch established by BOA Technology Inc. in China, responsible for the liaison and management of the company's OEM and suppliers, technical support for all cooperative brand factories and solving quality problems, as well as the marketing and sales of the entire Greater China.

Overview Of Role

Reporting to the Lead Manufacturing Engineer, this position is critical in enhancing manufacturing efficiency and ensuring product quality. You will identify and implement initiatives aimed at driving continuous improvement throughout the production process. Collaborating closely with both our suppliers production teams and our product development teams, you will oversee end-to-end process and quality management. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring consistency in manufacturing processes and quality standards across various platforms and production sites.

Core Responsibilities

  • Reflect and role model BOA's vision, values and Leadership Model and demonstrate passion for our mission across the Manufacturing Excellence team and rest of the organization.
  • Proactively identify and lead initiatives focused on improving labor efficiency with in-depth knowledge of our products production processes to achieve cost reduction targets and support our two-year operating plan execution.
  • Lead effective analysis and resolution of quality issues collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing clear and comprehensive summaries and reports.
  • Conduct manufacturing process audits and oversee 5M1E (manpower, machine, material, method, measurement, environment) change approvals to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a key resource in pilot production, providing support and oversight. Review processes and act as a gatekeeper to ensure successful design-to-manufacturing transfers, facilitating smooth transitions from development to production.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years+ experience in manufacturing, with a focus on lean improvement/Continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma Tools such as SMED, Value stream mapping (VSM), 8D Problem Solving, Poka-Yoke, etc.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
  • Willingness to travel to various manufacturing sites, including an extended stay in Vietnam.

Desired Qualifications

  • Lean & Six Sigma certificate is a plus.
  • Project management certificate is a plus.
