About the Role

We are looking for a Manual Tester to help us extend a lending self-service portal to support savings products and native mobile apps. In this role, you will think comprehensively to ensure that mobile apps and savings features are shipped to production with zero critical bugs, making it possible for customers to trust our financial self-service portal across web, iOS, and Android.

Operating in a regulated financial environment where downtime and data breaches aren't options, you will be responsible for validating reusable component libraries, resilient integrations with external systems (KYC/AML providers, payment processors, core banking), and architecting for scale and security. You understand that quality isn't optional, and you will take ownership of quality and advocate for users.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Manual Testing: Perform manual testing across the full stack with precision - including Angular web applications, mobile apps on iOS/Android devices, and RESTful APIs.
• Integration & System Validation: Test integrated systems (not just isolated components) and handle complex integration points, ensuring external system integrations remain resilient and secure.
• Test Strategy & Process Ownership: Design comprehensive test plans and test cases, establish testing standards and processes, lead testing strategy, and influence development practices.
• Exploratory & Functional Testing: Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing to find edge cases that developers miss, thinking like an end user.
• Troubleshooting & Analysis: Apply strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and understand how changes ripple through the system, affecting both web and mobile.
• Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Communicate issues clearly in English with distributed teams (Vietnam, Europe), mentor others, and help raise the quality bar across the team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software testing experience with a focus on manual testing.
• Exceptional Full-Stack Manual Testing: You can manually test Angular web apps, mobile apps on iOS/Android devices, and RESTful APIs with precision. You understand how changes ripple through the system and design test scenarios that catch cross-platform and integration issues before they reach production.
• Good English communication skills.
• Experience testing web applications, mobile apps (iOS/Android), and APIs.
• Strong exploratory testing skills and the ability to think like an end user.
• Strong API testing skills with tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, or SoapUI.
• Solid understanding of MongoDB testing and validation.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, including GitHub, Jenkins, and GitOps pipelines.
• Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare) where quality is non-negotiable.

Nice to have

• Financial services domain knowledge (loans, savings, payments).
• Experience testing Capacitor or hybrid mobile apps.
• MongoDB or NoSQL database testing experience.
• Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC authentication testing.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
• Experience with contract testing (Pact.js) for microservices.
