Job Description

Kegmil is in search of a QC Engineer (Mid/Senior) with 4-6 years of experience, adept at manual testing, and possessing a positive attitude with a willingness to learn. As a valued member of the product-core development team, your role will involve contributing your insights and efforts to ensure the successful launch of our product, meeting and exceeding clients expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and insightful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans.
  • Estimate and prioritize testing activities effectively.
  • Identify, record, meticulously document, and track bugs (e.g., using Jira).
  • Conduct thorough regression testing once bugs are resolved.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to identify system requirements and address issues.
  • Support and mentor junior QC members as needed.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated work experience in software quality assurance (minimum of 4-6 YOE).
  • Profound knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proven ability to craft clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with black-box testing and API testing (e.g., Postman).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Proficiency with Test Management and Bug Tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Possess a product mindset and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents in English.
  • Experience working with SaaS products or complex, large-scale systems is a big plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries (experience in this area is a plus).
  • Exposure to automation testing (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) (experience in this area is a plus).
  • Exposure to performance and/or security testing (experience in these areas is a plus).
